Usually PCB circuit boards are divided into single-panel, double-panel, and multi-layer circuit boards according to the number of layers. 1. Single-sided circuit board: On the basic circuit PCB board, the parts are concentrated on one side and the wires are concentrated on the other side. Because the wires only appear on one side, this circuit board PCB is called a single-sided circuit board PCB(Single-sided). Because single-sided circuit boards have many strict restrictions on the design of the circuit (because there is only one side, the wiring cannot be crossed and must be wound around a separate path), so only early circuits or circuits with particularly simple wiring use this type of board.

1, single-sided circuit board:
on the basic circuit PCB board, the parts are concentrated on one side, and the wires are concentrated on the other side.
2, double-sided circuit board:
This circuit board has wiring on both sides, but to have two wires, there must be proper circuit connection between the two sides. The "bridge" between such circuits is called a. The pilot hole is a small hole filled or coated with metal on the PCB of the circuit board, which can be connected with the wires on both sides. Because the area of the double-sided circuit board is twice as large as that of the single-sided circuit board, the same buried double-sided circuit board solves the difficulty of interlacing wiring in the single-sided circuit board (it can be passed to the other side through the guide hole), and it is more suitable for use in more complex circuits than the single-sided circuit board.
3, multilayer circuit board:
In order to increase the area that can be wired, multilayer circuit boards use more single or double-sided wiring boards. A circuit board PCB with one double-sided board as the inner layer, two single-sided boards as the outer layer or two double-sided boards as the inner layer and two single-sided boards as the outer layer, the circuit board PCB that alternates through the positioning system and insulating bonding materials and the conductive patterns are interconnected according to the design requirements becomes a four-layer and six-layer circuit board PCB, also known as a multi-layer circuit board PCB. The number of layers of the board does not have several layers of wiring layers. Under special circumstances, empty layers will be added to control the thickness of the board. Usually, the number of layers is even and includes two outer layers.
